A lighting layout is the simulation of how light distributes on a surface —roadway, park, plaza, facade— given the luminaire, mounting height, spacing, tilt and optic.
It validates illuminance levels, uniformity, coverage and glare before construction. It is the foundation of any serious technical proposal.
It predicts, with technical rigor, how light will behave in a space. It enables comparison of luminaire alternatives and verifies compliance with standards and design criteria before installation.
With a plan of the roadway or surface, length, width, number of lanes, type of use and available mounting height we can deliver an initial lighting layout.
Target levels or specific standards are also useful to validate the proposal.
Yes. We accept DWG, DXF and PDF files, as well as sketches or Google Earth images with approximate measurements. We generate the layout from there.
Yes. The selection starts from the lighting layout and is validated against the project context: available height, roadway type, environment, local regulation and budget.
Yes. Lumen México also supplies the luminaires, poles, arms and accessories specified in the project. Commercial terms are included in the corresponding proposal.
Yes. We have delivered projects for municipalities, water utilities and public entities. The proposal is adjusted to the criteria of the corresponding agency.
Yes. We work with contractors, developers, engineers and architects, from the preliminary stage through product supply on site.
Yes. A full proposal includes the calculation report, lighting layout, luminaire specification, quantities, prices and supply terms.
A plan or sketch with measurements, the type of project, the target illumination level (if known) and contact details. With that we can start.
Yes. We perform diagnostics of existing installations, level assessment, identification of improvement opportunities and a retrofit proposal with savings estimation.
Yes. We work across Mexico and, on a case-by-case basis, on projects abroad.
