01 · Acceptance of terms

By accessing and using the lumenmexico.com website (hereinafter “the Site”) and/or contracting any of the services offered by LUMEN MÉXICO (hereinafter “Lumen”), you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of them, please refrain from using the Site or contracting our services.

02 · Services offered

Lumen offers professional urban lighting consulting services, which include, but are not limited to:

• Lighting design and concept development.
• Photometric calculation and lighting layouts.
• Product specification and luminaire selection.
• Technical and regulatory advisory (NOM, NMX, IES, EN).
• Photorealistic renders and visualization.
• Supply of luminaires, poles and accessories.
• Supervision and on-site support (under specific quotation).

03 · Quotations and validity

Quotations issued by Lumen are valid for 30 calendar days from their issue date, unless otherwise indicated in the quotation itself. Prices are expressed in Mexican Pesos (MXN) or US Dollars (USD) as specified, and do not include VAT or freight unless expressly indicated.

04 · Contracting process and payments

The contracting of a service is formalized once the client accepts the quotation in writing (email or WhatsApp message). The standard payment scheme is: 50% advance upon confirmation of the service and 50% remaining upon delivery of the work or shipment of the products. For larger projects, customized payment milestones may be established, which will be agreed in writing before commencement.

05 · Deliverables and timelines

The delivery timelines indicated in each quotation are estimates and begin to run from the confirmation of the advance and the reception of all necessary technical information from the client (plans, site characteristics, applicable regulations, etc.). Lumen is not responsible for delays attributable to incomplete information, scope changes requested by the client, or causes of force majeure.

06 · Nature of calculations and limitations

Photometric layouts and calculations are prepared based on information provided by the client, manufacturer IES files and applicable regulations. They are a technical reference for luminaire selection and arrangement; they do not replace a technical site visit nor do they constitute an executive electrical installation project. Any significant variation from the conditions considered (actual reflectances, obstacles, later architectural modifications) may require a review of the study.

07 · Intellectual property

All deliverables generated by Lumen (calculations, layouts, renders, plans, reports, technical and creative proposals) are the intellectual property of Lumen until the total payment of the service is settled. Upon full payment, the client receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited-use license for the contracted project. Lumen reserves the right to use the deliverables in its portfolio, unless an express confidentiality agreement is signed in writing.

08 · Product warranty

The warranty of the luminaires and equipment supplied is governed by the manufacturer's policies, whose specific terms are delivered with each product. Lumen acts as an intermediary for managing claims with the manufacturer during the warranty period.

09 · Limitation of liability

Lumen shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of the Site or the contracted services, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruption or loss of information. Lumen's total liability to the client for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10 · Use of the website

The Site and its content (texts, images, trademarks, logos, source code, interactive tools) are the property of Lumen or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, modification or commercial use of the content is not permitted without prior written authorization. It is prohibited to use the Site for illicit activities, attempt to access non-public areas, or interfere with its operation.

11 · Modifications

Lumen reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Modifications shall enter into force upon publication on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or the services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

12 · Jurisdiction

For the interpretation and compliance with these Terms, the parties submit to the applicable legislation of the United Mexican States and to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
